Age 21+ event only. Dirty Brickster... but older. Bring a wrapped LEGO® set, minimum $30.00 Bricklink value. New, sealed sets must be out of production since before 2020. Used, complete sets are ok if from before 2010. Brickset will provide production dates. Prizes will be awarded to whomever brings the best gifts. Public ridicule awaits the bringer of the worst gift. Don’t bring junk.
Kids & Teen Tape Ball
Kids & Teens only version of the tape ball event. It's tape - in the shape of a ball. There's LEGO inside. Set the LEGO free. You might win some LEGO parts or a fresh new cut on your hand. Kids and Teens will play in separate events on either side of the same room. Brick Quest
Brick Quest is a fantasy RPG created in Lego. Your character sheet is Lego, the dungeon locations are made out of Lego, and the monsters are made out of Lego. Characters, dice, monsters, and dungeons provided. Just bring yourself and your sense of fun! [3-5 players]

Mobile Frame Zero
Lego for the robots, bases and terrain. There will be a limited number of pre-built mechs for play or you can use your own Mobile Frames that you have built from the MF0 rules.
Goblin Gauntlet Adventure
Goblin Gauntlet is a D&D adventure played using Valerie Maggitti’s immersive LEGO build. Participants work as a team to avoid traps while questing to defeat the dastardly Goblin King. No formal D&D experience is required. Ideal participants are creative problem solvers and good communicators. Prizes awarded for clever strategy and teamwork. Because we will play through lunchtime light snacks will be provided, and/or you may bring a snack to share for in-game bonus points. 6 players total, age 15+

The Women's Brick Initiative (WBI) is an RLOC dedicated to inspiring, supporting and empowering women in the LEGO ecosystem. We are excited to conduct another workshop at Brick Rodeo! Please join us as we discuss the history of women and LEGO, our intern program, and our efforts around equity and inclusion. It would not be a LEGO workshop without building, so our workshop will include building quilt squares to make a WBI quilt!

Mashup Creative Build
Participants work to build the most creative build using only the bricks provided. All skill levels welcome. Young Builders encouraged.
Junkyard Voltron
Teams of four builders will use four different sets to build a mighty robot. Each builder constructs a piece of the robot using only the pieces of one of the sets, then the whole team unites the pieces to form Junkyard Voltron.
Spaceship! Spaceship! Spaceship!
Spaceship! Spaceship! Spaceship! Solo participants compete to build the best Spaceship! using the set provided. (Spoiler: the set is not a spaceship set.)

A competition where each participant starts with a LEGO® set and then embellishes it with play brick to make the scariest/coolest/most-creative monster.

Lights On, Lights Off #1
Players are provided a set that they must build in the dark. Players can the instructions when the lights are on, but they can only touch the bricks when the lights are off. Lights are turned on and off at regular intervals.

Build in a Bag
Build a polybag set without opening the set in the shortest amount of time while standing. Fastest players win.
The Claw
This is a speed build for a team of two. We call it The Claw because it's a lot like one of those claw machines where you try to grab a prize. Two players sit facing each other, with one wearing a blindfold. The blindfolded player cannot see anything, but is allowed to touch the pieces. The un-blindfolded player can see the pieces and instructions, but is not allowed to touch the pieces. Players must verbally communicate so that they can build the set as quickly and accurately as possible.
Builder Dash
Players are given a set where the pieces are placed on a table on one side of the room and the instructions on the other side. Players must then race back and forth to complete the set as quickly as possible.
One Handed Build
Players are allowed to use only one hand for all building. Two hands may be used to open the boxes and baggies, but once the building begins, only one hand may be over the table surface at a time with time penalties assessed for all violations. The time penalty doubles for each violation. First violation: +5 seconds. Second violation: +10 seconds. Third violation: +20 seconds, and so on.
Mirror Build
Teams of two will compete to build a medium sized set, but with a twist, it must be built mirror image of what the instructions say. This is harder than it may seem!
Big Hand/Little Hand #1
Teams of two race to build a set as quickly as possible. Each member can only use one of their hands to build. Also, teams must be either one AFOL and one TFOL, one AFOL and one KFOL, or one TFOL and one KFOL.
